Bio

Pavel Szabo is a Czech musician and composer known for his calming and minimalist piano miniatures, which evoke moments of reflection, focus, or dreaming. In his music, he blends influences from classical, neoclassical, jazz, and Eastern traditions, creating unique musical worlds.

Pavel's musical journey has been shaped and influenced by studying under teachers such as Ludmila Benešová (piano), Milan Vilč (jazz), Darina Žurková (instrumentation), Alex Gerič (improvisation), Edvard Schiffauer (composition), and others. A significant part of his musical interest is Indian classical music and playing the sitar, which he studies under the guidance of Indian maestro Deobrat Mishra from Varanasi.

Pavel continuously deepens his musical style and develops his musical language. He is also studying orchestration for multiple instruments to master the skills necessary for composing orchestral pieces, which is his long-term goal.
